As of 1 January 2026, Monaco's minimum wage is €12.02 gross per hour — €2,031.38 gross per month for the statutory 39-hour week (169 hours), or about €2,132.95 including the Monaco-specific 5% flat allowance.

The hourly rate is identical — Monaco aligns it to the French SMIC automatically. The monthly difference comes from the longer statutory week and the Monaco allowance:

Monaco does not vote its own minimum-wage amount: the hourly rate tracks the French SMIC and applies automatically at each French revaluation (usually 1 January). On top of the salary, Monaco employers pay a 5% flat allowance ("indemnité forfaitaire de 5%"), which is exempt from social contributions.
